How to Dial using the TravelSIM Menu
The SIM Menu can also be used to place a call. This method works best for some networks (New Zealand and United Arab Emirates).
There are a few handsets that can only dial from the SIM menu.
To dial using the TravelSIM Menu please follow these steps:
- Go to the SIM Menu in your phone’s menu system
- Select the “call” option
- Enter the full international number
- Press “ok”
How do I find the TravelSIM Menu?
Sometimes the TravelSIM Menu is called the SIM menu, TravelSIM, SIM Applications.
Nokia: nearly always under the main menu, down the bottom.
Samsung: usually under Tools or Applications.
iPhone: usually in Settings>Phone>SIM Applications.
If at first you can't find the TravelSIM menu, please keep looking, it is there! Try stepping through the menu item by item until you find it.
